World Cup: Despite poor start, Australia score 288 against Windies
Nottingham, Jun 6 (IBNS): Despite an ugly start, Australia came back strong to put 288 runs on scoreboard against Windies in the World Cup at Trent Bridge here on Thursday.
Nathan Coulter-Nile's 92 and Steven Smith's 73 helped Australia to reach close to 300.
However, the Aussies failed to play the entire 50 overs as they were bowled out by Windies with one over to spare.
Carlos Braithwaite had the best bowling figure for Windies. He picked three wickets for 67 in 10 overs.
