London, July 15 (IBNS): Hours after New Zealand were defeated in the World Cup final by England, cricketer Jimmy Neesham, who seems to be heart-broken, urged kids not to take up sports as their future professions.

"Kids, don’t take up sport. Take up baking or something. Die at 60 really fat and happy," Jimmy, who played the final match for New Zealand, tweeted.

In another tweet, he said: "That hurts. Hopefully there’s a day or two over the next decade where I don’t think about that last half hour. Congratulations @ECB_cricket , well deserved."

In a match that got ended in a draw at the end of both sides playing 50 overs each and also at the end of the super over, England emerged the winner because of "superior boundary count".

Batting first, New Zealand scored 241 losing 8 wickets in the final of the Cricket World at Lord on Sunday evening.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first.

Nicholls was the highest scorer of the side with 55. Woakes and Plunket picked up three wickets each.

At the end of 50 overs, England ended up with the exact same score.

In the super over, both the teams scored 15 each. But England won because they had scored more boundaries.
