India eye Test win against South Africa in Visakhapatnam, Rohit hits century again

Visakhapatnam: Rohit Sharma hit yet another century in the first Test against South Africa here on Saturday helping India to inch closer to their victory in the match.

Rohit, who made a century in the first innings, slammed 127 off 149 balls in the second innings on Saturday.

In the second innings, India scored 323/4 declared setting a target of 395 for South Africa. Cheteshwar Pujara scored 81 in the second innings. Ravindra Jadeja and skipper Virat Kohli smashed quick 40 and 31 respectively.

At stumps on day 4, South Africa scored 11/1 in 9 overs. The visitors need 384 more to win the match.

Aiden Markram and Theunis de Bruyn are not out at 3 and 5 respectively.

In the first innings, South Africa scored 431 in reply to India's 502/7 declared.
