Kabul: Afghanistan cricketer Mohammad Nabi on Saturday rejected fake news which claimed that he was dead.

"Dear friends, Alhamdulillah I am all good, a news disseminated by some media outlets about my demise is FAKE. Thank you," Nabi tweeted.

Nabi confirmed that he was alive by posting a tweet for his fans.

Nabi is one of the most popular players to play the game for Afghanistan.

He has played in several international T20 leagues.
