Bengal cricket team selector tests positive for Covid-19
Kolkata/IBNS: Bengal cricket team selector Sagarmoy Sensharma has tested positive for Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19, said Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Abhishek Dalmiya on Friday, media reports said.
Sensharma, a former Bengal pace bowler, is learnt to have contracted the virus from his wife.
He has been admitted to a hospital in the eastern part of Kolkata.
Sensharma is the first in the Bengal cricket to have been infected with the virus.
West Bengal on Friday reported 277 fresh Covid-19 cases taking the state's tally to 4,813.
230 people have so far died in Coronavirus in West Bengal.
