Asunción/Xinhua/UNI: Paraguay's top football division will resume on July 17, four months after shutting down because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Paraguayan Football Association (APF) told clubs that players would be able to start individual training on June 10, with separate group sessions set to begin six days later. Full squad training will be permitted from June 22.
"It's going to be a great challenge to move forward with this timetable for football's return," APF president Robert Harrison said.
"The majority of the stadiums are ready to stage training sessions and competitive matches," he added.
Libertad currently lead Paraguay's first division Apertura standings, four points ahead of second-placed Olimpia after eight matches.
Paraguay's health ministry has reported 917 confirmed coronavirus cases and 11 deaths.
