Australia in driver's seat as bowlers bowl out India for 244 runs, taking 94 runs lead
Sydney: Australia is expected to leave the third day of the third Test by sitting on the drivers seat as the bowlers finished off the Indian first innings at 244 runs, grabbing a lead of 94, here on Saturday.
Ravindra Jadeja remined 28 unbeaten while Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubman Gill contributed 50 runs each in the Indian innings.
Pat Cummins picked up four wickets as he remained the top of the Austra;oa bowling attack.
Earlier Steve Smith played yet another heroic innings of 131 runs which helped Australia post 338 runs in the first innings of the third Test match against India here on Friday.
Ravindra Jadeja shined with the ball on the second day as he picked up four wickets to damage Australian order at the end.
Marnus Labuschagne (91) and Will Pucovski (62) added some runs with their willows.
Jasprit Bumrah and debutant Navdeep Saini took two wickets each while Mohammed Siraj picked up one.
