JKPL cricket tournament: Team Hooked, Nunnu Stars emerge winners

Srinagar: The first match of JKPL cricket tournament was played between Team Hooked and Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club.

Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club won the toss and opted to bat first and posted a total of 164 runs inalloted 20 overs.

Gowhar Rashid (66 of 32 balls), Bilal (34 of 25 balls) were among the top scorers for Shape Up FitnessCricket Club.For Team Hooked Tajamul,Riyaz,Touseef claimed one wicket each.

In reply Team Hooked scored thetarget in 16th over.For Team Hooked WaseemRaza scored 69 of 28 balls and Tajamul Baba 38 of 30 balls were amonghighest run getters.

For Shape Up Fitness Cricket Club Rameez Raja claimed 2 wickets. WaseemRaza forhis outstanding bowling performance was adjudged as Man of the Match.

The second game was played between Mayid Rayan Warriors and Nunnu Stars.Mayid Rayan Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first.

They managed to put a total of 145 runsonly. Yawar Bashir (43 of 33 balls) was among top run scorers for his team.

For Nunnu Stars Irshad, RoufMir, Jamsheed took 2 wickets each. In reply Nunnu Stars chased the target in 18th over. AdilSofi (65 of48 balls) was the highest run scorer for his team. Imtiyaz claimed 2 wickets for his team Mayid RayanWarriors. AdilSofi for his outstanding batting performance was given Man of the Match.
