Colombo/IBNS: A second Indian cricket team, led by Shikhar Dhawan, will be looking to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the One Day International (ODI) series against Sri Lanka at R.Premadasa Stadium here Tuesday.

Dhawan's men will be taking on the Lankans in the second ODI match which will begin at 3 pm IST.

In the first ODI which was held Sunday, India, riding on captain Dhawan's responsible half century and an impressive debut performance by Ishan Kishan who scored a 50, outplayed Sri Lanka by seven wickets.

While two young batsmen Ishan Kishan and Prithvi Shaw slammed 59 and 43 in quick time, Dhawan remained unbeaten at 86 ensuring his team's victory.

In absence of frontline Indian players including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma who are in England to play a Test series against the hosts, Dhawan is leading the side in Sri Lanka.

Former Indian skipper Rahul Dravid is also working as the national men's team coach for the first time in this series.
