Tokyo Olympics: Deepika Kumari defeats Karma of Bhutan to reach last 16 in women's individual archery
Tokyo/IBNS: India's ace archer Deepika Kumari had a comfortable victory over Karma of Bhutan in the Round of 32 and clinched a place in the last 16 in women's individual archery event.
Earlier in the day, Pravin Jadhav was outplayed by Brady Ellison of USA 0-6 in the last 16 and was knocked out of the men's individual archery event.
Archer Tarundeep Rai also disappointed when he lost to Itay Shanny of Israel 6-5 in the men's individual Round of 16.
