Inzamam-ul-Haq suffers heart attack, undergoes angioplasty surgery
Islamabad: Former Pakistan skipper and 1992 World Cup hero Inzamam-ul-Haq suffered a heart attack and underwent an angioplasty surgery Monday, media reports said.
Inzamam's manager revealed a successful angioplasty had been carried out at a private hospital, adding that his condition was stable but doctors had kept him in observation, reports Geo News.
His manager also informed that a stent has been successfully placed in Inzamam's heart.
Inzamam is considered as one of the most successful cricketers to play for the country.
He played 378 ODIs and scored 11739 runs.
In Test, he played 120 matches and scored 8830 runs.
