India beat New Zealand by 73 runs to clinch T20 series 3-0

Kolkata: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front as an all-round show by the Indian players helped the home side beat New Zealand by 73 runs in the third T20 match of the series to register a whitewash here on Sunday.

After posting 184 runs for the loss of seven wickets, Indian bowlers did their job by bowling out the Kiwis for 111 runs.

Experienced Martin Guptill remained the top scorer for the squad with his 51 runs knock.

The remaining of the batting lineup collapsed miserably.

Axar Patel remained the pick of the Indian bowlers as he picked up three wickets.

Harshal Patel grabbed two.
