The Ashes: Pat Cummins' fifer helps Australia to bowl out England for 147
Brisbane/IBNS: Australian skipper Pat Cummins took a fifer to bundle out arch-rival England for 147 in the first innings of the inaugural Test of The Ashes at The Gabba here on Wednesday.
The pace bowler clinched five for 38 while the rest of the English wickets were shared by Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Cameron Green.
In an English scorecard which remained wanting, wicketkeeper batsman Jos Buttler (39), Ollie Pope (35) and Haseeb Hameed (25) were the top three scorers.
Earlier, England had won the toss and elected to bat first.
