Melbourne/UNI: Stefanos Tsitsipas propelled into final four of Australian Open with a win over Jannik Sinner on Wednesday.
The Greek registered a 6-3 6-4 6-2 win over Sinner in the quarterfinal at the Rod Laver Arena.
"I think my humility helped a lot today. I knew I was going on court facing a very good player. So I stayed intact and I tried to focus on my best shots and it kind of paid off more than I thought," Tsitsipas said in on-court interview.
"I'm very, very happy with how I served, the way I came in, involved my tactics a lot in today's match structure," Tsitsipas added.
The world No 4 will face either second seed German Daniil Medvedev or ninth seed, Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada in the semifinals.
