Got to get his act together: Aakash Chopra on Shreyas Iyer's IPL performance

Mumbai/IBNS: Former cricketer and commentator Aakash Chopra feels Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer, who was having a dream performance as an Indian batsman, is struggling against leg spinners in the ongoing 15th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).

Chopra said on his YouTube channel,"Shreyas Iyer seems to have an issue with leg-spinners. It looks at the ball and seems he wants to hit a six. Last match he got out to (Wanindu) Hasaranga.

"He's too good a player to play shots like these. Yes, Shreyas, you got to get your act together."

Though Iyer started off with unbeaten 20 in the first match of Kolkata, the right handed batsman was dismissed for 13 in the second match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

In the third match against Punjab Kings last night, Iyer, who was going strong at 25, became a victim of Rahul Chahar whom he decided to take on.
