Ex-Pakistan skipper Younis Khan endorses Kashmir willow bats

Srinagar: Former Pakistan cricket Captain Younis Khan on Monday endorsed the Kashmir willow bats manufactured and marketed by the GR8 sports Kashmir.

Younis Khan, who is also the batting coach of Afghanistan, on Monday played with the GR8 manufactured Kashmir willow bat during a practice session with Afghanistan players at Abdu Dhabi and praised the producers, company owner Fawzul Kabeer told UNI.

In a video message sent to UNI by GR8, the Pakistani player said: “ I extend you my best wishes for your business GR8 Kashmir willow which you are promoting. This self signed mug is an endorsement from myself…"

GR8 has hired some Afghanistan cricket players who are playing with the cricket kits made by the Kashmiri company for the forthcoming Asia Cup and World Cup.

The GR8 sports cricket products have been approved by the International Cricket Council Dubai in October 2021.

Oman cricket players Naseem Khusi and Bilal Khan played with their products during the T20 world Cup 2021 Kabeer of GR8 Sports was recently elected as Vice President of the Cricket Bat Manufacturers Association of Kashmir (CBMAK).
