4th Shree Cement Weekly Pairs Bridge Championship: Bengaluru boys bag top spot in 8th round

Kolkata/IBNS: Ratna Tadepalli and Godwin Jakes from Bengaluru bagged the top spot in the eighth round of the fourth edition of the Shree cement Weekly Pairs Bridge Championship, a spokesman of West Bengal Bridge Association said Thursday.

The online tournament has become popular in different parts of the country as a sizeable number of players from other states are taking part in this competition, the spokesperson said.

Kajal Das and Raj Jayaram finished second while Sujit Bhattacharjee and Swapan Some improved their position by one step as compared to the last round and came third.

The duos of Swapan Ghosh and S N Chakraborty and Partha Pratim Pal and Sourav Mukherjee settled for the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
