Sania Mirza-Shoaib Malik divorce: All we know about Pakistani model Ayesha Omar blamed for the split

India's tennis icon Sania Mirza and former Pakistan cricketer and captain Shoaib Malik will officially divorce substantiating the rumours of their split up as several media reports said.

Amid the divorce rumour, Pakistani model-actor Ayesha Omar's name has popped up.

As per various news reports, Ayesha has been cited as the reason behind the divorce of the power couple.

Things started ugly between Sania and Shoaib after the latter did a bold photoshoot with Ayesha in 2021.

Reportedly, Shoaib and Ayesha became close following the photoshoot. In an interview, Shoaib had even praised Ayesha for helping him in the photoshoot.

Considered a national style icon of Pakistan, Ayesha, a popular model-actor, is also a YouTuber. She is the highest paid female actor in the South Asian country.

She made her film debut in 2015 with romantic-comedy Karachi Se Lahore. Then she went on to feature in Yalghaar (2017) and Kaaf Kangana (2019).

Ayesha, 41, made her acting debut with daily soap College Jeans.

She has also featured in a number of daily soaps including the very popular Zindagi Gulzar Hai.

Apart from modelling and acting, Ayesha had also released her own songs.

How did Sania-Shoaib divorce rumour start?

The speculation over their divorce started after Sania shared some cryptic posts on social media.

"Where do broken hearts go. To find Allah," Sania had written in a post.

Shoaib's Instagram post too raised doubts over their married life.

Sharing a picture from the birthday celebration of their son, Shoaib wrote in a post,"When you were born, we became more humble and life meant something special to us.

"We may be not together and meeting everyday but Baba is always thinking about you and your smile every single second. May Allah give you everything you ask for @izhaan.mirzamalik. Baba & Mama love you."
