Suryakumar Yadav hammers 111 runs as India beat NZ by 65 runs
Mount Maunganui: Deepak Hooda took four wickets and Suryakumar Yadav hammered 51-ball 111 as India defeated New Zealand by 65 runs in a T20 match here on Sunday.
India added 191 runs for the loss of six wickets and then bowlers bowled out the Kiwi squad for 126 runs.
Yadav looked best with the willow as he hit 11 boundaries and seven sixes in his heroic knock.
Ishan Kishan added 36 runs.
Tim Southee took three wickets. for the hosts.
Kane Williamson contributed 61 runs with the willow.
He hit four boundaries and two sixes in the innings.
Yuzvendra Chahal, who remained missing from the final squad in the T20 World Cup, picked up two wickets.
