Assam to host 71st Senior National Volleyball Tournament from Feb 2

New Delhi: The 71st Senior National Volleyball Tournament will be held in Guwahati, Assam from February 2-9.

Elite Sports India has been granted the official rights to broadcast this top-tier national tournament which will be available on the ESIlive YouTube handle.

“Volleyball has been one of our top priorities as a sport in India. When we began, we knew we didn’t have many viewers and the journey is going to be long. But we believed we could make this work and here we are today” says Sunny Bhandarkar (CEO Elite Sports India).

“Ram Avatar Singh Jakhar, CEO, Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) and Prof Achyuta Samantha, president,VFI, have also been very supportive towards our association which has helped us push this sport to a larger audience” added Mr Bhandarkar.

Senior Indian team players and the new breed of young volleyball champs will all go guns blazing as they bring the storm while fighting for the ariel volleys.

The live-action to all games will begin on the ESILive YouTube handle from February 2nd.
