Hangzhou: The Indian men's bridge team won the silver medal at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou after conceding defeat to Hong Kong (China) in the gold medal final

The team of Raju Tolani, Ajay Prabhakar Kahre, Rajeshwar Tewari, and Sumit Mukherjee lost with a score of 12-17.

It's worth noting that India's bridge team had clinched three medals at the 2018 Asian Games.

Rajeshwar is an accomplished IIT alum holding a leadership position at HCL Technologies, while Sumit hails from Indian Railways.

Despite receiving the devastating news of his mother's passing on September 30th, Ajay Khare, a member of the Indian Bridge Team, exhibited remarkable mental fortitude by choosing to stay and compete.
