Test series against South Africa: Ishan Kishan withdraws from Indian squad
Indian wicket-keeper Ishan Sharma has requested BCCI to release him from the squad which will face South Africa in the upcoming Test series.
"Mr Ishan Kishan has requested the BCCI to be released from the upcoming Test series against South Africa citing personal reasons," the Indian cricket board said in a statement.
"The wicket-keeper has subsequently been withdrawn from the Test squad," read the statement.
The Men’s Selection Committee has named Mr KS Bharat as a replacement.
