Sania Mirza's cryptic Instagram post sparks fresh divorce rumour with Shoaib Malik
India's tennis icon Sania Mirza has once again sparked the rumour of her divorce with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik with a new cryptic Instagram post.
In an Instagram story, Sania wrote, "Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard.
"Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely."
In a post, the 37-year-old, who retired from her sport in 2023, wrote, "When something disturbs the peace of your heart , let it go."
How did Sania-Shoaib divorce rumour start?
The speculation over their divorce started after Sania shared some cryptic posts on social media.
"Where do broken hearts go. To find Allah," Sania had written in a post.
In another picture where she featured with her son, the former tennis player said, "The moments that get me through the hardest days."
Shoaib's Instagram post too raised doubts over their married life.
Sharing a picture from the birthday celebration of their son, Shoaib wrote in a post,"When you were born, we became more humble and life meant something special to us.
"We may be not together and meeting everyday but Baba is always thinking about you and your smile every single second. May Allah give you everything you ask for @izhaan.mirzamalik. Baba & Mama love you."
The rumour died down after Sania and Shoaib, who got married in 2010, featured together the show, titled The Mirza Malik Show.
