INDvENG: Yashasvi Jaiswal becomes third youngest Indian to hit double ton in Tests
Visakhapatnam/IBNS: Twenty-two-year old Yashasvi Jaiswal became the third youngest Indian to hit a double hundred in Test cricket during the first innings of the second Test against England in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.
Jaiswal follows Vinod Kambli and Sunil Gavaskar in the list of youngest Indians to score 200 in a Test innings.
Jaiswal, who reached his 100 with a six, hit a boundary to slam his maiden 200 receiving a loud cheer from the crowd and his dressing room.

The southpaw, who single-handedly led India's batting with no half century from the other end, was dismissed for 209 off 290 balls.
The left-handed batter, who powered his innings with 19 fours and 7 sixes, was sent back to the pavilion by English bowling veteran James Anderson, who clinched three wickets for 47 runs at a stupendous economy of 1.90 per over.

After Jaiswal's departure, the Indian batting order, which saw many unfinished starts, couldn't survive for long as the hosts were bundled out for 396.
Shubman Gill (34), Patidar (32), Axar Patel (27), Shreyas Iyer (27) were some of the batters, whose dismissals brought England back to the game at different times on the first day of the play.
