Sydney, Mar 26 (IBNS): India was struggling at 138 for four wickets at the end of the 30th over in their ICC World Cup semi-final match against Australia here today as skipper MS Dhoni and Azinkya Rahane took up the cudgel for a fightback while cashing a mammoth victory target of 328.

 Rahane was playing at 26 while Dhoni remained not out with 15 as the asking run rate continued to mount.

Earlier, openers Shikhar Dhawan (45), Virat Kohli (1) and Rohit Sharma (34) returned to the pavilion in the face of the Australian pace attack.

Australian pacer Mitchelle Johonson claimed two wickets giving  away 20 runs while Josh Hazelwood bagged the other wickets.

Australia posted 328 runs fore the loss seven wickets in 50 overs.
