Melbourne. Mar 29 (IBNS): In the high-voltage final match of the World Cup, New Zealand has won the toss and elected to bat first against Australia here on Sunday.

Australia have won the trophy for five time since the tournament commenced in 1975.

New Zealand is playing a World Cup final for the first time.
