Melbourne, Mar 29 (IBNS): New Zealand have scored 31 runs for the loss of a wicket after 10 overs in the final match of the World Cup against Australia here on Sunday.

Kane Williamson(11*) and Martin Guptill (14*) are currently at the crease.

New Zealand have lost the wicket of their skipper Brendon McCullum (0) in the first over of the match.

Mitchell Starc took his wicket.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first.
