Melbourne, Mar 29 (IBNS): Australia is slowly cruising towards the target if 184 runs in the final match of the World Cup against neighbours New Zealand here on Sunday.

At the end of 25 overs, Australia have posted 130 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Australian skipper Michael Clarke, who is playing the final ODI match of his career, is batting on while Steve Smith is currently unbeaten at

Clarke (43*) and Smith (34*)  have added 67 runs in the third wicket partnership.

Australia have lost the wickets of Aaron Finch (0) and David Warner (45).

Australia have won the 50-over mega cricketing event for four times since the tournament commenced its journey in 1975.

Earlier, Australia dismissed New Zealand for 183 runs.
