Chasing Kings Xi Punjab's 149 for eight, KKR reached 150 by losing a single wicket with 12 balls to spare.
Skipper Gautam Gambhir's unbeaten 63 and Manish Pandey remained 36 not out as KKR reached the target easily.
Gautam and opener Robin Uthappa (46) gave a good start to KKR by adding 63 on the scorecard.
The KKR wicket keeper departed by Pandey and Gautam played sensibly till the end.
Gautam, who was struggling even in the beginning of the tournament, seemed to get the touch finally as he has scored some runs in the last few matches.
In his 45-ball knock, he hit seven boundaries.
Parvinder Awana is the only batsman to take a wicket for Kings.
Earlier, Kings XI Punjab posted 149 for eight wickets with Virender Sehwag top scoring for the side with 72 runs.
Sehwag hit 11 boundaries and a six in his knock.
The opener, who is struggling to get a place back in the Indian side, looked in fine touch on Sunday before being bowled out by KKR leg-spinner Piyush Chawla.
The rest of the batsmen failed to even touch the 20-run mark.
Bengal wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha was the second top -scorer for the side with his 15.
Chawla created troubles for Punjab batsmen as he finished with a figure of 3/19.
Morne Morkel took two wickets in the match.
Punbjab, who has been cruising quite smoothly in the series so far, received a jolt with the defeat on Sunday.
