Selection trial for Indian Men Bridge team underway
Kolkata, Apr 29 (IBNS) Top bridge players of the country, most of whom have represented the country in different international tournaments, are in action as they staked their claim for the top honours in the selection trial at Bengal Rowing Club from April 28 for choosing the Indian team for the World Bridge Championship for Bermuda Bowl scheduled to be held in India later this year.
Eight teams are participating in this five day trial being held for selecting the Indian men team.
Cream of Indian bridge are in the fray for the event. The particiaints included likes of Kamal Mukherjee, Pritish Kushari, R Venketaraman, Kiran Nadar, Manas Mukherjee, Sumit Mukherjee, B Prabhakar, S Sundarram and many others all of whom represented the country in international championships like Bermuda Bowl and Bridge Olympiad in the past.
Following is the list of teams with their players participating in the trial .
