RCB beat KKR in IPL thriller

Bangalore, May 2 (IBNS) In a 10-over-a side shortened match, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets here on Saturday.

Batting first, KKR posted 11 runs for the loss of four wickets while RCB reached the target of 115 runs by losing three wickets with two balls to spare.

Mandeep Singh remained the top scorer for the side with his unbeaten 45.

In his 18-ball knock, he hit four boundaries and three sixes.

Skipper Kohli gave the side a strong start with his 34.

Brad Hogg, Piyush Chawla and

Andre Russell picked up a wicket each for KKR.

Earlier, Russell hit 45 runs to help his side 111 runs for the loss of four wickets in 10 overs.
