New Delhi, May 22 (IBNS) The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to hear N. Srinivasan's plea to reinstate him as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president for all non-Indian Premier League (IPL) purposes.

Srinivasan on Wednesday filed an interim application in the Supreme Court on the matter.

Srinivasan's return as the the BCCI chief was put on hold as the Supreme Court had proposed a three-member panel to probe into the IPL spot-fixing scandal.

After months of speculations and brushing away all criticisms, Srinivasan, who had earlier stepped aside as the BCCI chief over IPL scam involving his kin, was re-elected unopposed on Sept 29, 2013 as the president of the cricket body during its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Chennai.
