Australia A dominate first day, India A bowled out at 135

Chennai, July 29 (IBNS) Australia A dominated the proceedings in the first day of the second unofficial Test match against India A as they bowled out the hosts for 135 runs here on Wednesday.

Australia A were 43 for no loss at the end of the first day with Cameron Bancroft (24*) and Usman Khawaja (13*) batting at the crease.
Hopes were high from the India A side with Indian Test team skipper Virat Kohli (16) playing the game.

India A won the toss and elected to bat first but the side kept losing wickets and hence were bowled out for 135.

Karun Nair (50) remained the only positive story in the line-up with his fighting half-century. He smashed five boundaries in his knock and contributed 56 runs partnership with Naman Ojha (10).

Gurinder Sandhu  took three wickets for Australia A.
