CEAT inks a 3 year bat endorsement deal with Rohit Sharma
Mumbai, Nov 13 (IBNS): CEAT Ltd. on Friday announced its association with one of India's most proficient batsmen, Rohit Sharma, for a 3-year bat endorsement deal.
Rohit Sharma is the first ever player to score two double-hundreds in ODI history,among many other accolades he has bagged in his career.
The talented cricketer will now be seen playing with a bat prominently displaying CEAT insignia in all formats of the game.
Currently part of the Indian cricket squad, Rohit has been a consistent performeracross multiple formats of the game.
In 2014, Rohit scored his career best 264, the first to be achieved by a batsman in an ODI. With 16 sixes,he created cricketing history by recording maximum sixes in an ODI. Under Rohit’s captaincy Mumbai Indians (MI) have won the IPL in 2013 and 2015.He has also led MItowards victory in the Champions League T20 in 2013.
Commenting on the partnership, Anant Goenka, MD, CEAT Ltd said, “We are proud to announce Rohit Sharma as the latest Indian cricketer to join CEAT’s family. CEAT as a brand has always been associated with cricket—be it pioneering CEAT Cricket Ratings or the recently launched CEAT Cricket gear.Recently, CEAT had announced its tie up with Suresh Raina for thebat association.
Earlier this year, CEAT also partnered with IPL for the Strategic Time Out segmentand brought former Australian international cricket legend Brett Lee on board as their digital brand ambassador for the CEAT Cricket Ratings.
