Germany, Netherlands friendly called off, stadium evacuated after bomb threat

Hannover, Nov 18 (IBNS): Amid bomb threat a football stadium was evacuated and the friendly match between Germany and the Netherlands was called off at the Hannover stadium in Germany on Tuesday.

German President Angela Merkel was scheduled to attend the match.

Germany's Minister of the Interior Thomas de Maiziere was quoted as saying by BBC: "The match was called off on my recommendation."

No explosives or attacker have been found so far.

At least 129 people were killed in terrorist attacks in Paris last week.
