Australia, New Zealand enter record-books

Adelaide, Nov 27 (IBNS) The trans-Tasman rivalry reached a new high on Friday, when Australia and New Zealand locked horns for the third Test of the ongoing series, therefore playing the first official day-night Test match, here at the Adelaide Oval.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first Brendon McCullum and his side have put up 80 runs for the loss of 2 wickets at the end of the first session.

Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc picked up the wickets of Martin Guptill (1) and Kane Williamson (22) respectively.

Tom Latham (50 not out) and Ross Taylor (7) are at the crease.

The day-night Test is being played with a pink ball.
