3rd T20I: Watson scores unbeaten 124, Australia set India target of 198 runs
Winning the toss and batting first, the hosts put up 197 for the loss of 5 wickets.
Shane Watson batted through the innings and remained unbeaten at 124 runs off 71 balls. He hit 10 fours and 6 sixes.
After a brisk start, Usman Khwaja was removed by experienced Ashish Nehara which left Australia at 16 for 1.
Australia recovered well to post a 50 plus stand for the second wicket, but once Shaun Marsh (9) departed, Glenn Maxwell (3) too threw away his wicket.
Watson combined with Travis Head (26) to stitch a 90 plus partnership for the 4th wicket.
For India, Jasprit Bumrah, Ashish Nehara, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Yuvraj Singh picked up a wicket each.
