Mohali men’s warm-up matches to be played as double-headers at IS Bindra Stadium

Dubai, Feb 29 (IBNS) The ICC on Monday advised that warm-up matches ahead of the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016, originally scheduled for Sector 16 Stadium, will now be played as double-headers at the IS Bindra Stadium.

The men’s afternoon matches will still take place from 15h00-18h10, while the evening matches will be played from 19h30-22h40.

The updated Mohali warm-up schedule is as follows:

4 Mar – Netherlands v Afghanistan, IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali (15h00); Scotland v Oman, IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali (19h30)

6 Mar – Scotland v Netherlands, IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali (15h00); Oman v Afghanistan, IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali (19h30)

In Dharamsala, the warm-up match due to take place on 5 March featuring Hong Kong and Bangladesh has changed to now feature Hong Kong against a local side.

Teams featuring in the second round will play warm-up matches in Kolkata and Mumbai from 10-15 March. The women’s warm-up matches will take place in Bengaluru and Chennai from 10-14 March.
