World T20: Former ICC boss Ehsan Mani advises PCB against India match
Himachal Pradesh government has refused to provide security for World T20 tie, citing a January attack on an Indian army base, according to media reports.
Speaking to Pakistani news channel Dawn, Mani said on Tuesday that the PCB should pay heed to the threats as it involved the securities of their players, the coaching staff and media personnel covering the event.
He also said that had it been the Australian cricket team, they would have pulled out of the tournament immediately.
The comments came after Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh said on Tuesday that he will not be able to provide security to the visiting Pakistani team.
