Waqar Younis feels Pakistan have advantage against India
"Things are going positive for us right now after we beat Bangladesh in the first match here on Wednesday and India were defeated by New Zealand," the 44-year-old Younis said while addressing a press conference here Friday.
India and Pakistan will lock horns in a high-voltage Group II Super 10 match, a crucial for both, especially for India, to qualify for semi-final stage.
Pakistan are one up with two points while India are yet to earn any point so far.
" Pressure is heavy on India and we shall definitely take advantage of it," Younis added.
Younis also rejected Indian spinner Ravichandran Aswin statement that India-Pakistan match was like a "border rivalry".
Commenting on tomorrow’s match, Pakistan coach said his side is a confident lot while there is a possibility that India might made their exit from the tournament despite being the host nation.
"India is now under pressure which is a plus point for Pakistan," Younis said.
He also lauded Kolkata fans saying they got huge response from them during the game against Bangladesh.
