Faisalabad, Apr 26 (IBNS) Pakistani batsmen Umar Akmal grabbed the headlines yet again for all the wrong reasons on Monday, as he was reportedly involved in an altercation in a Faisalabad threatre.

Reports said that Akmal created a ruckus when his demand for the repetition of a song was turned down by the theatre administration.

The angry sport-star reportedly flipped out and peace was restored only when he was removed from the place.

Though reports stated that the dashing batsman was accompanied by four others, he denied their involvement and insisted that he was alone.

"I would request for my privacy to be respected. If I am breaking any law then the government reserves the right to arrest me," Akmal told reporters and was quoted by Geo TV.

"I went to watch a drama for entertainment; it is not a bad thing to do…it is my request that a cricketer’s private life should not be highlighted," he urged the media.
