IPL: Brad Hogg sanctioned for using inappropriate language

Kolkata, May 9 (IBNS) In the VIVO IPL match in Kolkata on Sunday evening, Brad Hogg of Kolkata Knight Riders was reprimanded by the Match Referee for using inappropriate language, actions or gestures which disparage or provoke an aggressive reaction during a match.

Hogg admitted to the level 1 offence (Article 2.1.7 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials) and accepted the sanction.

For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.
