Olympics trial: Sushil Kumar moves Delhi HC

New Delhi, May 16 (IBNS): Seeking a trial with Narsingh Yadav to secure a berth in the 74kg category wrestling event at the upcoming Rio Olympics, India's iconic wrestler Sushil Kumar on Monday moved to the Delhi High Court.

Sushil, who has won Olympic medals in the past for the nation, is not among the probables for preparatory camp for the mega sports event this year.

Sushil earlier tweeted: "I only want that the best player represent India in the Olympics#justice4sushil."

Sushil won the 2010 world title, a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, which made him the first Indian to win back to back individual Olympic medals.

His 2008 Olympic medal was second for India in wrestling, and the first sinceKhashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav's bronze medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics.
