New Delhi, May 27 (IBNS) Ace Indian cricket Virat Kohli, who's in a dream run, amassing 900 odd runs in the ongoing edition of Indian Premiere League, is making waves outside of it too, as he surged past the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Novak Djokovic, and is presently placed third in the list of top 50 marketable athletes of the world.

A recent report by SportsPro places Virat third after NBA star Stephen curry and footballer Paul Pogba.

The list also includes Indian Tennis sensation Sania Mirza, who is placed at 43.

Cristiano Ronaldo is placed at 35, followed by Usain Bolt at 31, Lionel Messi at 27 and Novak Djokovic at 23.

Neymar, who is placed at 8, is the highest ranked footballer, while Kei Nishikori at 6 leads the Tennis pack.
