New Delhi, July 25 (IBNS): Olympic medal winning Indian wrestler Sushil Kumar reacted to Narsingh Yadav and the trouble he has been facing following failed dope test and said he will always support fellow wrestlers.

"Very unfortunate 2 see the Wrestling go through this. I hv given my life to & wl always support fellow wrestlers," Kumar tweeted.

The  Wrestling Federation of India on Monday stood behind Narsingh Yadav, who is facing trouble following a failed dope test before the Rio Olympics, saying the grappler is a victim of conspiracy, reports said.

WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said that  the federation believes Narisingh is innocent.

"The federation believes Narsingh is innocent. Injustice has happened with him and we are hopeful he will get justice. I will try my level best to help Narsingh get out of this problem so that he can represent India in 74kg+ in the Olympics and win a medal," he told a press conference.

"It is our duty to protect Narsingh and all our wrestlers. Narsingh's record is clean. He is someone who never shied away from dope tests," Brij Bhushan said.

"Narsingh complained in writing to us that a conspiracy has been hatched against him and I and the entire nation believe him because he has nothing to do with the substance."

Narsingh, who was selected to represent the country at the Rio Olympics,  has been provisionally suspended  after he tested positive for a banned substance.
