India, West Indies share first session honours
At lunch, the Indian batsmen have put on 425 runs for the loss of six wickets, by virtue of which they are ahead by 229 runs.
Wriddhiman Saha departed for 47 runs, though Ajinkya Rahane is unbeaten at 72 runs and will look forward to score his seventh century.
The Caribbean bowlers gave away just the 67 runs in the morning session of play as they troubled the batsmen frequently.
Jason Holder, the West Indies skipper bowled a long and tight spell and stuck gold, as he trapped Saha in front, to pick his maiden wicket of the series.
