India bowl out WI for 225, lead by 285 runs
The Indian batsmen started their second innings in a positive fashion to score 157 runs in 39 overs.
They have however lost three wickets, Shikhar Dhawan (26), Lokesh Rahul (28) and skipper Virat Kohli (4).
By virtue of their second innings' score, the team now leads the WI by 285 runs.
After a brisk opening wicket start, where Dhawan and Rahul added 49 runs, a mini collapse slowed the scoring rate as India slumped to 72 for the loss of three wickets, but another crucial 85-run stand between Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane saw them through.
After a poor outing in the first innings, Rohit played some attacking shots, striking three sixes and a boundary in his unbeaten innings of 41 runs off 57 runs.
The subdued Rahane continued his good form to reach yet another half century and is unbeaten at 51 runs.
Earlier in the day, the Caribbean team started with 107 runs for the loss of three wickets and soon found themselves at 135 for the loss of three wickets.
A 67-run partnership between Marlon Samuels (48) and Jermaine Blackwood (20) kept the visitors at bay but it all changed too soon after the loss of Blackwood, triggering a collapse.
Though the spin twin of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja looked threatening, they were unable to break the defiant Jamaican partnership, and with a day wasted owing to rains, Virat Kohli wasted no time to take the second new ball.
His plan paid off as Bhuvneshwar Kumar, in his comeback Test match, ripped through their batting line up.
The military pace of Kumar not only broke the Blackwood-Samuels partnership, but also accounted for a 'fifer', as he ended his spell with figures of 5 wickets for 33 runs.
Once the pair departed, only Shane Dowrich with his knock of 18 runs managed to reach a two-figure score.
The spin twins accounted for three scalps, with Ashwin chipping away with two wickets and Jadeja removing the in-form Roston Chase (2).
Ishant Sharma failed to add another to his kitty after he removed Darren Bravo in the morning session of play.
