Yadav is the India's entry in the 64-kg freestyle category of the Rio Olympics.
He has been taken by WADA to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
The hearing in the case will be held on Aug 18.
"We are aware of the case. We must respect the integrity of the case, and as such we cannot comment on any aspect of the case or process while matters are still pending," said WADA to NDTV.
National anti-doping panel on Aug 1 cleared wrestler Narsingh Yadav of doping charges.
The wrestler faced trouble when he had failed a dope test ahead of Rio Olympics.
The decision had cleared his way to compete in the mega sports event.
Amid reports that his food was spiked resulting in wrestler Narsingh Yadav testing positive for a banned substance, the athlete had failed a second dope test too, said media reports.
According to earlier media reports, the second dope test conducted on July 5 by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) has also dismissed any tampering of his food as alleged by him.
