Rio, Aug 19 (IBNS): Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal was attacked by a netizen over Twitter and was suggested to 'pack her bag', but the Indian player responded in the most dignified way possible, making him apologise for the comment.

One Anshul Sagar tweeted: "@NSaina dear saina...pack ur bags..we hav found someone who knows how to beat the best ones."

Nehwal replied: "Sure thank u Sindhu is doing really well India is doing really."

The response made the person apologise for his remark.

"@NSaina sorry for hurting u ..i really didnt mean it..i still love u...still a big fan," he tweeted.

Nehwal again replied to his tweet and said: "No problem my friend all the best to u."

The netizen made the comment at a time when another Indian badminton sensation PV Sindhu reached the finals of the women's singles event at the Rio Olympics and  assured India at least a silver medal.

Saina crashed out of the event early.
