Ind-NZ: Kohli, Rahane extend India's dominance

Indore, Oct 9 (IBNS): Continuing their partnership, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and deputy Ajinkya Rahane extended India's dominance over New Zealand here on Sunday, the second day of the third and final Test match of the series.

At lunch on day two, India have put on 358 runs for the loss of three wickets.

The Kohli-Rahane partnership have added 258 runs so far and will look to add on more when play resumes post lunch.

After a string of failures, Indian skipper Virat Kohli came back to form with a century, his 13th in Test cricket.

Rahane, who ended the first day with 79 runs, too completed his century in the opening session of day two.

The skipper and deputy are batting on 149 and 124 runs respectively.
